Did my first iPad sketch on my iPad Mini using Sketchbook Pro. Esmy without her goggles. Here’s the time lapse for it.
What’s cool IS the time lapse feature on Sketchbook Pro for iPad. I really wish the desktop version of SBP had it. (Unless it’s going to get it soon on that awesome beta some are testing.)
I used a Wacom Bamboo stylus. It feels aight, but I think I’m going to actually go and pick up a Jot Touch 4 to try it out and see if I could be a bit more efficient than drawing with the nipple-like nib of the Bamboo stylus.
Though this is condensed in a bit over a minute, it took over an hour and a half to actually draw this; showcasing the fact that doing serious work on an iPad is not really all that fantastic as some talk it up to be. But for quick doodles on the go, it’s pretty neat.

One of the concept artists, Judy, sketches the various expressions for each character. It is then sent off to Rob, the lead artist to “ink” and color to keep within the game’s overall art style.
Almost every character will have quite the arsenal of emotions at their disposal to… communicate… with…!
